A taco truck in Austin made $400 in one night off a chalkboard sign with the letter O drawn backwards
I was standing in line at this little truck near Riverside 3 weeks ago and noticed the owner had just scribbled the name backwards on a scrap of wood with a paint pen. The O was literally looping the wrong way and the letters were uneven as heck. I asked him about it and he said some college kid told him people trust sloppy signs more than clean ones, so he tried it and his sales jumped about 30 percent that weekend. Is that real or did he just get lucky with a busy street?
