Drove past a rebranded gas station chain in Ohio and it felt unsettling
Ngl, I was driving through Columbus last month and stopped at a Speedway that had just switched over to the Marathon branding. The whole color swap from red and white to blue and orange looked like they just flipped a filter on the old signs. What really got me was the loyalty app still said Speedway in two places on the pump screen. They kept the layout, the fonts, even the silly little point system, but everything else tried to pretend it was a totally new company. It felt like a bad tattoo coverup where you can still see the old lines underneath. Has anyone else seen a merger rebrand that felt half finished and just confused customers?
