Ngl, watched a store in Columbus swap its logo font to save money and the sign guy caught it on install day
Stopped by a hardware place on the east side of Columbus last Friday to price out some fasteners, and their new sign was half up with the old letters still bolted below it. Turns out they let a print shop redraw their logo to cut costs, and the curves on the lowercase a and the g were totally different from the old mark. The sign installer noticed the mismatch and refused to finish, which saved them from having two logos on one building. I pulled up both files on my phone with the manager and showed him how the new letters sat about 3 inches wider at the widest point. It cost them around $600 for a redraw from a real designer, way less than tearing the sign back down. Has anyone dealt with a cheap logo redraw that only showed up once it hit a real sign?
