Showerthought: I tattooed my logo onto my own forearm and it took my barber 2 seconds to point out the kerning was off
I run a small coffee cart in Phoenix and for maybe 8 months I thought my logo was solid. Then in March my barber Luis glanced at my arm, which has the logo inked, and said the space between the T and the A was tighter than the rest. He is not a designer, just a guy who looks at heads all day. I pulled up the file that night and measured it, and yeah, one gap was 9 pixels and the others were 14. So how do you all catch stuff like this, do you print it tiny and squint, or hand it to somebody who has zero design background?
