The McDonald's on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie repainted their arches gray and I sat in the lot for 10 minutes staring at it
Stopped there last week for a coffee and did a double take because the arches were a flat gray instead of red and yellow. The whole building is that gray and beige modern look now, and honestly it looked like a bank or a dentist office from the road. I get that brands want to look grown up, but the red and yellow is the only reason a 4 year old can spot it from the highway. Has anyone else seen a big chain ditch its colors like this, and did it actually look better to you or just boring?
