Warning: a client said our logo looked 'cheap' and it took me 3 weeks to figure out why
I run a 4 person lawn crew in Ohio and a client told me last week that our truck logo looked cheap next to a competitor's. Hurt my pride a bit but I sat in my driveway that night staring at both trucks. Ours had a script font I pulled off a free font site in 2019, plus 6 different green shades that turned to mush when printed small on a business card. The other guy used one bold font and two flat greens, and it read clean from 50 feet down the road. So I paid a designer $450 to redo ours with a single font and just 2 greens, and my wife spotted the new truck from across the Kroger lot on the first try. Any of you run a small business and change your logo after years of using the old one? Did customers even notice or care?
