Lead mason in Philly laughed at me for wetting my brick before laying, then his wall cracked in 2 months
He told me wetting brick was a rookie move and real guys lay it dry. His north wall on that Fishtown job spider cracked all over by August while my wet laid wall stayed tight. Anybody else deal with guys who think dry laying is some kind of badge of honor?
