So I was mixing mortar and a cat walked through it. Paw prints all over the fresh bricks. What a mess lol

Wait, you use concrete for bricks? For masonry work like that, it's usually mortar. The mix is different. Those paw prints will be a pain to fix now that it's setting. You might still be able to smooth them out if you work fast. Did you manage to clean it up?

Concrete for bricks? Big mistake. @max388 is right, mortar is what you should use for masonry work. Concrete doesn't flex like mortar and can cause cracks. Those paw prints are a real pain to fix once it sets hard. If you act fast, you might smooth them out with a wet trowel. But if it's already setting, you're pretty much stuck with them.
