Paid $18 for a hostel locker in Lisbon and it saved my whole trip
Two summers ago in Lisbon I checked into a hostel near Rossio and the front desk offered a lockable cage under the bed for 3 euros a night. I almost skipped it because my bag had a cheap combo lock on it already. Four nights in, someone sliced the bottom of my duffel while I was asleep and got nothing because everything important was in that cage. That is roughly $18 total for peace of mind on a 10 day trip. So now I want to know, do you all pay for hostel lockers or just sleep with your bag as a pillow?
