Unpopular opinion: a hostel worker in Lisbon told me my 40L backpack was why I kept blowing my budget
She said checking a bag costs me 30 euros a flight and forces me to taxi everywhere, so I sold it and did 3 weeks with a 28L carry-on for $0 in bag fees, has anyone else had a stranger roast their packing setup into changing it?

Wait so the 28L carry-on thing actually worked for 3 weeks? How did you deal with like weather changes or did you just do laundry every couple days? I'm genuinely trying to figure out if people who pull this off are just wearing the same 4 shirts the whole time lol.
