Finally calculated my actual grocery savings from meal prepping and nearly fell off my chair

Used to be all about the Sunday meal prep honestly. Thought I was saving money and being healthy. But then I started actually adding up the groceries and time spent chopping and cleaning. Realized a pre-made meal kit or just grabbing takeout from the place down the street costs almost the same after you factor in wasted ingredients and the hours I could spend relaxing. That frozen pizza and bagged salad wins every time now.

That customer who insisted I install his router in a metal cabinet

Did you actually start" - I've noticed people do this ALL the time in real life too, they push someone to do something their way then act shocked when you actually go through with it. @webb.stella probably knows that feeling of being forced into a corner and then blamed for following through.

My neighbor Steve convinced me to stop using store-bought fence stain

Actually leebrown, the mineral spirits don't really help it soak in deeper. They just thin it out so it spreads easier and dries a bit slower, which can be helpful on a hot day. The real trick with the linseed oil is how it polymerizes inside the wood fibers instead of just sitting on top like a film finish. That's why it lasts so long without flaking off. But yeah, you're dead right about the rag fire danger. I kept a bucket of water next to me the whole time I used it. Gotta be careful with that stuff or you'll wake up to a pile of ash.

Debate: Bold text vs. high contrast backgrounds for readability?

High contrast always wins in real world testing. Bold text is just lazy design wearing a cool jacket.
