Dropped $12 on a $3 thrift store rice cooker six months ago and it just quit on me
Found it at the Goodwill on 8th, figured even if it died I was only out a few bucks. Turns out it became the backbone of my whole grocery budget, rice and beans for dinner 3 nights a week. Did the math last month and I saved about $140 on takeout because of that thing. It made a weird clicky noise Sunday and now it won't heat up at all. Do I just buy another cheap one or is it worth spending real money this time?
