Picked the $45 warehouse boots over the $120 ones, 6 months in and my feet are fine
Needed new boots in January and stood in the store for 20 minutes debating the cheap pair vs the name brand. Went with the $45 ones and put the $75 I saved straight into my car repair fund, and honestly they've held up fine through 6 months of 10 hour shifts. Anyone else find the cheap option actually worked out better than expected?
Bought a $50 pair at a discount store two winters ago thinking they'd last a season and they're still going. The stitching finally gave out on one seam last month so I hit it with some super glue and kept rolling. Meanwhile my buddy dropped $200 on fancy work boots and the sole came apart in four months. Sometimes the price tag is just a price tag (and the extra cash feels way better in your pocket anyway). Putting that $75 toward your car was the smart move, boring but smart beats broke every time.
