My garage workbench finally stopped wobbling after I added a $7 brace
I spent 2 months shimming the legs with scrap wood and it still rocked every time I used a plane. Then I cut one diagonal 2x4 from the back leg to the front rail and screwed it flush on Tuesday. Anyone else skip bracing until the whole bench starts dancing around the room?

Two months of wobble sounds more like patience than a problem. A $7 brace fixing it in one afternoon kinda makes me wonder what took so long. You sure it wasn't just the floor being uneven the whole time?
