Spent $85 on a used drafting stool off Craigslist and my back finally stopped screaming at hour 6
I do a lot of hand drafting and model building at my kitchen table, and I was using a $15 folding chair from Walmart for about 8 months. By hour 3 my lower back was toast, but I figured that was just how it goes. Picked up a used steelcase-style stool on Craigslist in Portland for $85, the kind with the adjustable foot ring, and suddenly I can work for 6 hours straight without needing to lie on the floor after. Anyone else find that one cheap upgrade to their setup made way more difference than the expensive stuff?
