Used to think a bullet journal had to be perfect, then my kid spilled juice on it.
For years I tried to keep everything neat. Straight lines, perfect lettering, no mistakes. It felt like a job. Then last Tuesday, my four year old knocked a cup of grape juice right onto my open weekly spread. The pages were a mess. I almost started a whole new book. Instead, I just let it dry and kept going. Scribbled over the stains, taped a ripped page. Now it feels real. Like a tool, not a showpiece. The messy one gets used way more than the pretty ones ever did. Anyone else have a journal that got better after a disaster?
