DAE think a silent mouse click is better until they tried one at a buddy's place in Omaha
I always figured silent click switches were a gimmick for people who share an office. Then I used my friend's mouse with silent switches for about 2 hours during a project at his place in Omaha last month. The click still bottoms out with a soft thud you can feel in your finger, just no sharp tick. I went back to my regular mouse and the clack sounded cheap and hollow all of a sudden. Ordered a set of those switches for $9 and swapped them in a week later. Now I'm wondering if the clicky clack I loved for so long was just noise I got used to. Anyone else switch to soft click switches and miss the sound later, or is it gone for good for you?
