Hot take: I pressed membrane keys for 15 years before a guy at a Phoenix repair shop let me try his Model M
I always thought the loud click was just annoying noise, but the second my fingers hit that buckling spring I got why people chase that sound. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I actually hate clicky switches or if I just never gave my hands a real chance to feel one, so what was the switch that flipped it for you?
