My 4 year old mechanical keyboard lost its spacebar click last Tuesday, and now I can't focus
The spacebar on my board started feeling mushy around 2pm, and by dinner it just went silent with zero click. I opened it up, cleaned out about 6 years of crumbs and dust, but the little white switch still sounds dead flat. I ordered a replacement set of switches, but I'm worried the whole board's plastic housing is worn out after how much I type every day. Does anyone know if lubing the stem would bring back that sharp pop, or should I just swap to a different switch type entirely?
