My keyboard went from loud clacky switches to silent ones and I kind of miss the noise
Swapped out the Cherry MX Blues in my daily driver about 8 months back after my wife said the clacking through the wall was keeping her up, and now typing feels like I'm pressing marshmallows. Anyone else switch to silent switches and end up regretting losing that click?

Wait, your wife could hear the clacking through an actual wall? That's wild, I always figured that was just something people joked about to justify buying new switches. My blues are loud enough to annoy me in the same room, so I can't even picture them carrying that far. Guess the silent swap was the right call even if your fingers are bummed about it.
