So my 3DS shoulder button got quiet after I cleaned it with isopropyl and now I regret everything
I read online that cleaning the contacts would bring back the click on my old 3DS, so I took it apart and swabbed the shoulder button with 91% isopropyl while watching a repair video from a guy in Ohio. Now the L button works fine but it's totally silent, like pressing a wet sponge, and it's bugging me way more than the original mushy click ever did. I guess the alcohol stripped whatever little lube was left in there. Has anybody found a way to bring back that snap, or did I just permanently ruin the feel of this thing?
