Vent: fixed my kid's squeaky toy with a $2 tube of silicone grease, now the click is too quiet to enjoy
The button on his fire truck started grinding like a rusty hinge, so I popped the case open in the garage and dabbed the plastic tab with silicone grease instead of the WD-40 I usually grab. Is there a grease that keeps the snap but kills the grind, or did I just trade one bad noise for a worse one?
