Vent: the space bar on my Das Keyboard started mushing out mid Zoom call and I fixed it with a $4 thing of dielectric grease
Two weeks ago I was on a work call in my Denver apartment, the space bar went from that crisp thock to a dead squishy thud, so I popped the stab, wiped the old lube off with a q tip dipped in isopropyl, and re greased it, and now it clicks harder than it did the day I unboxed it, has anyone else noticed dielectric grease outlasting the fancy Krytox stuff on their stabs?

Dielectric grease is thick stuff, so it will feel snappier longer just because it takes forever to move out of the way. That said, it is not really the same job as Krytox. Krytox is made to stay put and keep a smooth glide, while dielectric grease is made to keep water out, so it can get gummy over time and pick up dust. The reason yours feels better is probably that you cleaned the old lube off first, not the grease itself. Fresh lube on clean plastic beats old lube every time, no matter what brand it is.
