My $300 router bit set from Amazon was a total waste

I bought this 25 piece router bit set off Amazon for $300 last spring, figured it was a good deal for starting out. The bits started chipping after like 10 cuts on some oak plywood. I ended up buying a single Freud bit for $50 and it's still going strong after 6 months. Anyone else have bad luck with those cheap bulk sets?

Oh, I have to disagree completely. I've had mine for three months now and it's held up perfectly through washes and daily wear. Maybe you just got a bad batch or something, because the quality on mine is genuinely impressive for the price point.
