My trusty old table saw blade finally gave up after 25 years

I was ripping some cherry last Tuesday and it started smoking like crazy, so I had to stop mid-cut and drive 40 minutes to the nearest tool supply for a new Forrest blade before I could finish the job, anyone else hold onto blades way longer than they should?

Can't believe you drove 40 minutes just for a saw blade - that's some serious dedication to finishing a cut!
