Saw a huge shift in how I do face frames after switching to pocket hole joinery

I used to do all my face frames with biscuits and glue, took me about 45 minutes per cabinet. Then about 6 months ago I tried pocket holes on a kitchen job in Austin, first one took me maybe 20 minutes start to finish. The joints came out way tighter and I stopped worrying about clamping pressure going wrong. Has anyone else noticed a big time savings after making a similar switch?

I still prefer biscuits for face frames. Pocket holes can warp the joint if your material isn't perfectly flat, and that drives me crazy.

Pocket hole joinery was a total game changer for me too. I used to spend all day stressing over biscuit joints and glue ups, and now I can knock out a face frame in under half the time. The real beauty for me is how clean the joints look on the backside. I don't have to mess around with clamps and wait for glue to dry anymore. It just feels more reliable and faster, especially on those tight production schedules. I honestly can't imagine going back to the old way now.
