Bend radius rules I ignored for 4 years, until a 400 foot run bit me

I've been pulling coax through attics since 2019 and always just bent it however I needed to get around trusses, never measured anything. Last week a customer in Portland called me back because their signal was garbage and the cable tracer showed a crushed spot right where I'd wedged it over a duct. Has anyone else taken shortcut with bend radius and paid for it later, or am I the only one who learns the hard way?
