Just fixed a 6 hour ghost pixel issue on a 4K camera job with a $3 tip from a retired tech in Tulsa
A retired tech named Ray at a supply house in Tulsa told me to always test BNC connectors with a multimeter before crimping, said he'd seen "a hundred guys chase ghosts for days over one bad ground." Sure enough, on a 4K camera install last Tuesday I had a flickering pixel on channel 3, tested the connector and found a whisker of shield touching the center pin, swapped it and the picture locked in clean in about 5 minutes. Anyone else keep a cheap multimeter in the van just for connector checks, or do you trust the eyeball test?
