Near miss on a 3 story drop in Scottsdale, my wrist strap saved the spool
Was running a new drop off a 3 story condo in Scottsdale when a gust caught the spool and yanked it right off the ladder hook. I had my wrist strap looped through the spool eye by pure habit, so it jerked my arm hard but nothing hit the sidewalk below. Do you all strap the spool on windy days or just clip the ladder and hope for the best?
