Spent 4 hours on a roof in Phoenix chasing a signal leak that was coming from a splitter I installed myself
Two weeks ago I was on a job in Phoenix, 112 degrees out, and the whole house had bad internet on every outlet. I climbed up and down that ladder 6 times swapping connectors before I found it. The leak was a splitter I put in 3 feet from the ground box, and the fitting was loose by maybe a quarter turn. I felt like such an idiot standing there covered in dust with a meter in my hand. How do you all check your own work before you leave a job so you do not end up back at the same house twice?
