TIL my fish tank water works better than the 6 dollar spray lube I keep in the truck

Last month in Austin I was wrestling a stubborn coax through a crawlspace and my can of lube ran dry, so I grabbed the half gallon of aquarium water I had left over from a tank cleaning and that line slid through like butter, anyone else got a weird backup lubricant that does the job twice as good as the real stuff?

My dad swore by Windex for everything from squeaky hinges to stuck bolts, and honestly that stuff works better than most of what I got at the parts store. It's funny how the random junk we already have around beats the expensive stuff half the time.
