Unpopular take: I think labeling every cable end with a handheld labeler is slower than just using colored electrical tape
After 8 years of doing installs in Portland I've watched guys waste 20 minutes per job fiddling with those label makers when 3 wraps of red tape on a coax end tells you everything you need to know and I can finish the run twice as fast, anyone else ditch the fancy labels for something simpler?

Honestly, I see this same overcomplication everywhere now, like people buying special fridge organizers instead of just using the cardboard boxes the food came in. We've convinced ourselves that we need the expensive fancy tool when the cheap simple thing gets the job done faster. It's like we're solving problems that weren't really problems to begin with.

Swapped my fancy fridge bins for those clear plastic containers from the dollar store last month and honestly @the_taylor they work way better lol. The cardboard boxes sometimes get soggy but the cheap bins hold up fine and cost like nothing. Simple is definitely the way to go with this stuff.
