Why does nobody talk about going with a pass-through crimper over the ratcheting kind?
Back in my early days running drops in Fresno I went with the cheap pass-through crimper because the ratcheting one was $40 more, and it got me through about 200 terminations before the die went soft. The pass-through let me see the wires poking out so I stopped guessing if the pins seated right, but man did I go through blades. Curious if the ratcheting crowd thinks the jaw clamp is worth the extra cash or if I just got lucky with my cheap one.
