An old guy in Tulsa handed me a hazy lens and a $3 bottle of Windex, and I almost argued with him
He ran a tiny shop off 11th Street and when I brought in a 50mm with fungus he said skip the fancy fluid and use half Windex, half distilled water with a microfiber cloth. I tried it on a beater lens first because I figured I had nothing to lose, and the haze came off in about 4 passes with zero coating damage. Anyone here ever use plain glass cleaner on a coated element, or did I just get lucky with this one?
