Guy at the counter said 'just swap the board' like it was nothing, and it got me thinking
I was picking up a parts order in Austin and overheard a guy telling a customer his AE-1 was done for, just swap the board, no big deal. Except he said it while holding a soldering iron he clearly had not plugged in once that day, and that lazy attitude is why half the film cameras in this city come to me dead. Anybody else dealing with customers who got quoted a 10 minute fix that turns into a full teardown?
