The $12 camp knife that outlasted my $80 one
Picked up a cheap Mora at a gas station in Flagstaff on a whim, figured it'd snap by day two. Three trips later it's still razor sharp while my expensive blade chipped on a stubborn log. Anyone else found budget gear that just refuses to die?

Ha, my fancy gear must be reading this and feeling real bad about itself right now. I've got a beat up hatchet from a yard sale that's outlived two "upgrades" I paid way too much for. Maybe the cheap stuff just doesn't know any better so it keeps going.
