Trail mix exploded in my Osprey at Glacier, now I pack everything in dry bags
Went 9 miles up the Highline Trail last Saturday and the zipper on my main compartment gave out under the weight, so now I am wondering if anyone else has ditched regular stuff sacks for those roll-top waterproof ones after a blowout like that?

Three miles from the trailhead my zipper just gave up and dumped a full jar of peanut M&Ms down a ravine. I watched my calories roll away like they were on vacation. Now I use the roll-top dry bags for everything, even my toothbrush. My pack is basically a floating scuba kit now, but at least my trail mix stays put.
