inClear comms on my last dive felt like a win, but now I'm debating gear reliance.
Disagree, good gear lets you focus on the skill part.

inPSA: My entire project file got corrupted at the city permit office in Austin because I didn't check the export settings.
Our city portal straight up rejects any PDF over 10MB without a single error message. You just get a green checkmark on a blank page. Found that gem in a forum post from 2019. How many hours do you think get wasted because they won't fix a basic file size warning?

inMy clipper cord got yanked out mid-fade yesterday
Man that's the worst feeling, watching the plug fly out mid-stroke. I've taped my cord down with gaffer tape in a big loop before, the kind that doesn't leave residue. It's not perfect but it adds some tension so a yank doesn't go straight to the wall.

inHad a 20 amp breaker trip on a brand new kitchen circuit last week. What's the first thing you check?
Honestly, this is why I never trust new builds. The first thing I'd check is the outlet wiring for a loose neutral, because the rush job is always in the details. It's the same corner-cutting you see everywhere now.
