Wasted $120 on a cheap backpacking tent from Amazon last summer

I saw this tent had like 4.5 stars and figured it was a steal for $120. First night out in Shenandoah, one of the poles snapped during a light breeze lol. Tried to return it but the seller ghosted me after 30 days. Ended up buying a used tent from REI for $80 that's held up for 2 years now. Anyone else get burned by those random brand tents on Amazon?

Are you getting a replacement from the company or are you stuck dealing with the hassle? That's rough man, especially with all those perfect reviews making it seem like you got a fluke. I had a similar thing happen with a tent last summer, first rainstorm and the seam tape just peeled right off. It's frustrating when something that looks solid on paper fails that quick. Hope they make it right for you without too much runaround.
