Lost 45 minutes trying to swap a client's logo into Canva because Figma brain made me forget files
I was helping a friend fix her bakery flyer and needed to drop a new logo into her Canva file, so I opened the project and just sat there dragging the image into the canvas like a Figma frame. Then I clicked the image expecting a fill option and got nothing, because Canva treats it as a photo object, not a shape layer. I ended up deleting and re-uploading the PNG four times before I realized I had to drag it directly onto the existing image instead of the blank canvas. Total time on a task that should take 30 seconds: around 45 minutes. Does anyone have a real workflow for swapping logos in Canva when your whole brain is wired for Figma components?
