Scope creep bites, sure, but nobody ever left a job because you let them have one extra round on a small fix. The nickel and dime stuff is what makes clients start shopping around, and once they're gone they don't come back. Your account manager owes you a coffee at minimum for that one.

You got lucky with that one prompt, but the app is probably not what did it. The real trick is that you gave yourself a weird enough idea that your brain stopped worrying about being good and just started playing. I had a similar thing happen with a random word generator I used to trash talk. Stuck a few random words together, got a stupid story about a lighthouse keeper who collects teeth, and wrote more that night than I had in weeks. The app is just a tool, but the moment you stop trying to be serious about it, that is when the words come out. Keep using it, but don't give it all the credit.
