Saw a guy at the Denver car wash drying his paint with the same rag he used on his wheels
Stopped by a self serve wash on Colfax in Denver last weekend and the guy in the bay next to me dried his whole hood with the same towel he just wiped his rims with. I didn't say anything but cringed because that's how you grind brake dust into your clear coat and get swirl marks. I keep two towels now, one cheap one just for wheels and tires and one clean plush one for paint only, and it costs me like $12 total. Anyone else have a dumb little rule like this that saved their paint?
