Finally figured out why my quotes kept getting beat in Tampa
I spent 8 months sending quotes with just a flat price and a date range, and I kept losing jobs to the same two brokers every single time. Then a dispatcher told me he books whoever sends him the cleanest pickup and delivery window plus a backup plan, not the cheapest number. Now I list exact days and a contact person on every quote, and I've booked 9 loads in the last 3 weeks compared to maybe 2 before. Has anyone else noticed brokers care more about the details than the price?
