Blanked on a key detail during a job interview in Phoenix last month

I was at this desk job interview for a clinic coordinator role and completely froze when they asked about my experience with their specific scheduling software. I admitted I didn't know it but offered to learn it over a weekend, and they actually handed me a training login right there. Has anyone else bombed a question and still gotten the job?

Ngl I had to read that twice. They just handed you a training login on the spot? In Phoenix of all places? I swear that city has the most cutthroat job market I've ever seen. Tbh most places would have just moved on to the next candidate without a second thought. That clinic coordinator gig must have been pretty desperate for someone or they really liked your vibe. Shocked they didn't even test you on it right then and there.
