Hot take: a guy at a job fair in Toledo asked me one question and it fixed my whole resume
He looked at my resume for 10 seconds and asked what job I was applying for, and I couldn't answer straight because I'd been sending the same page everywhere. Now I keep 3 versions saved and match the top line to the posting before I hit send, has anyone else tried that or found something better?
Did you ever try just tweaking the top line instead of saving whole versions? I used to figure one resume was enough and that people were just being picky, but that story made me get why a quick match up front saves you.
