Just realized my resume was built for robots, not humans

I used to cram every keyword and action verb into a one page wall of text, figured that's what ATS systems wanted. Then a recruiter in Omaha told me she spends about 7 seconds scanning before deciding, and she couldn't find my actual job title. I rewrote it last month with plain section headers and a 3 bullet summary, and my callback rate went from zero to 4 in two weeks. Has anyone else had better luck ditching the fancy formatting for a cleaner, simpler layout?
