That $600 track saw kit saved my back after 15 years of circular saws
I finally broke down and bought a track saw setup last month because I had a big job cutting down 12 sheets of 3/4 birch plywood for built-ins. Dragging a circular saw and a straight edge across every cut was killing my knees and my patience. The first cut was dead straight, no tearout, and I finished the whole sheet good in like 10 minutes. It felt like cheating. My only regret is not buying one back when I was doing kitchen cabinets in 2018. Has anyone else switched over and found their old method feels unbearable now?

Man, I remember helping my uncle rip down a bunch of melamine years back with just a circular saw and a chalk line. That whole sheet was bowed and we were fighting it the entire time, chips flying everywhere. By the last cut we had given up on it being pretty and just wanted it done. He cussed that plywood like it owed him money. Sounds like your track saw turned that whole mess into a nice afternoon.
