Appreciation post for the old-school knee kicker over power stretchers

I've noticed more guys moving to power stretchers, but I stick with my knee kicker for most installs. It lets me feel the tension better on stairs and around doors. Everyone says it takes too long, but I get smoother results with less risk of tearing the carpet. That extra bit of care pays off in the long run.

Wait you can actually tear carpet with a power stretcher? Never seen that happen before.

Check the pad for wear first, gray77, mine tore when it was really thin.
