I spaced on door swings when measuring and now there's an ugly carpet gap.

Yeah but how often do people actually clean under there? It's such a tight space that just collects dust bunnies and crumbs. I use a thin paintbrush to get stuff out every few months, but it's a hassle. What's your go-to method for dealing with it?

Ever consider if that airflow benefit is worth the ugly look? You trade a clean line for a dust trap that needs special tools to clean. Would you actually design it that way on purpose?
