But I mean, come on, is this actually that serious? @the_shane's example of a messy journal that works is fine, but cleaning before photos is pretty normal. People have always wanted to look good in pictures, that's just human nature. Social media makes it more visible, but it's not some huge problem. We all get that posted stuff is often staged or cleaned up. So calling it "performance cleaning" feels like making a big deal out of nothing.
